It is with pleasure that I am able to furnish this reference for Ascension Homes Ltd.
Ascension Homes Ltd undertook the building of our beach house situated at Cooks Beach Coromandel in 2007, building to the plans we had designed and had drawn up.
We cannot fault the service we got from them from first meeting to end result, it was of the highest standards. Even when we had a glitch in the plans which was our fault, and posed to delay the building consent application, we asked Alan for his help and he had it fixed within the week with absolutely no stress involved for us. On random visits to the building site we were greeted by the Ascension team who were only too happy to answer any questions.
Our dwelling was finished to every last detail and was better than we had ever imagined.
Alan and Lee of Ascension Homes Ltd are fantastic people and made the whole experience a pleasurable one.

I am writing to express my very sincere appreciation for having built the lovely home at Te Kauwhata for me.
What I am particularly grateful for is the very efficient and speedy manner in which you completed the house, notwithstanding the rain problems you encountered from time to time.
I have built other houses of late and the buildings seem to go on for ever and ever with one problem after another. Here I must say, what an absolute pleasure to have a house completed without any problems or come backs. The two very minor issues caused by the electrical contractor and landscaper were sorted out in a matter of days.
I just want you to know that I am extremely grateful and satisfied with the excellent workmanship and ethical manner in which this whole construction was completed.

- The next-door neighbour, whose home had just been completed, kept commenting about how thorough our builders were compared to his.
- Some independent tradesmen I engaged separately commented on the quality of the work.
- My home handyman friend, try as he might, could find no flaws.
- Since the house was built nothing has sagged, fallen off or leaked, so until this reference I have not had to see Allan. Considering what's happened to other new houses round about, this is some achievement on Allan's part.

When we were considering who would construct our home we complied a list of what we required from our builder. After all, building a home is a serious investment, and relationships can get strained and volatile. Therefore we needed to be able to work with someone who wouldn't get over excited or stress us out. They also needed to be a thorough professional, have a great track record, and obviously be cost competitive.
We were pleased with your use of quality construction materials, your use of current technology, and your up front pricing format. Your willingness to work with is during the whole building process was extraordinary. Utmost respect was given to our ideas, and problems were handled in a timely fashion.
We count ourselves lucky to have worked with you. We tell everyone and anyone how great you treated us from beginning to end. You got us off on the right foot by working and reworking and reworking the figures to help us squeeze everything we really wanted.
Many times people like to complain about bad service, bad products or bad workmanship, but they fail to let companies / people know when they are treated well.
